| MARY ANN CORDOVA, FOUNDER Is a native of California and lives in Anaheim Hills with her husband John. She met John after his return from service in Viet Nam in 1970 and they were married in 1971. She has two sons, John 31 and Michael 27 and two grandsons, Michael 5 and Ryan 3. Michael is one of her best helpers. She retired after 20 + years from her career in the Mortgage Banking Field in 1990 where she had worked in various positions as a Loan Processor, Loan Officer, Office Manager. She founded "Packages of Gratitude" to help brighten the lives of our SSAMs serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Being the wife of a Viet Nam Veteran, she realized how important it is to show the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines (SSAMs) how much they are supported in their fight against terrorism, and to say Thank You for keeping America safe. She is a member of the American Business Women's Association (ABWA) and the Rotary. |
MARY ANN BENITA
| BENITA BROWN She was born in Michigan and moved to California when she was nine. She now lives in Yorba Linda with her husband Fred. They were married in 1970 after Fred returned from his service in Viet Nam and have 3 children. Danielle 33, Michael 30, Matthew 27. She has two grandchildren, Dillon Brown born June 6, 2005 and Katie Raneri born June 18, 2005. She retired in 2002 from a career as a Legal Secretary working for a Workman's Compensation Defense Firm. She and Mary Ann have been BEST friends for the past 30 years and share the same respect and concern for the morale of our troops. When Mary Ann drafted her to help with "Packages of Gratitude" she couldn't say "YES" fast enough. She is the one that is responsible for keeping Mary Ann sane and organized. |
